Jewish Studies Internship

Jewish Studies Internship is a one-month annual academic training program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for select students (including academically excellent undergraduates, post-graduates and young academics already teaching in the field).

The program includes research work in Israeli archives and libraries,  lectures on methodology of research, and individual mentoring and tutorials by leading Israeli academics. The participants of the internship are granted a chance to conduct their own research by taking advantage of the rich educational resources located in Israel's universities. They are also encouraged to take part in the World Congress of Jewish Studies that takes place at the Hebrew University and in other ademic events.

We encourage young scholars from the Post-Soviet countries and Eastern Europe to take part in this Internship. In the past, researchers form Ukrianie, Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Georgia, Romania, Czech Republic, etc. took part in this program.
