Our flagship project for two past decades has been the Jewish Studies renaissance in the FSU, where due to our twenty years of professional activity, the Jewish Studies departments at the two most prestigious universities in Russia: Moscow State University and St. Petersburg State University were established. The program of academic teaching of Jewish Studies in Ukraine was also rapidly evolving in recent years, including cooperation agreements with academic institutions in Kyiv, Odessa and L'viv.
In addition, for the past decades the IC has been developing and maintaining cooperation with the academic institutions in Latin America, mainly in Argentina and Chile.
We strive to expand this experience to other parts of the word and to enhance collegial, cultural, and professional exchange in the field of the Jewish Studies.
We are currently developing new programs of teaching Judaica and Israel studies at university settings in the Central and Eastern Europe: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Georgia, Estonia, etc.
The program usually consists of two-week long mini courses that are part of the academic curriculum of the hosting universities.
